Good day!  Two new areas of interest have been added to AncientFaces.  The first is a page dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King.  Yesterday, in Washington DC, a statue of him was unveiled.  This weekend, there is a dedication ceremony.  There are pictures of Dr. King on this page and I’m hoping that some historical African-American photos will be added  to the page soon.  They’re certainly on AncientFaces already!

On the other side, but no less impassioned, is the “counter-culture” of the 1960’s.  Having attended the University of California, Berkeley, in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, I was an eyewitness to many of the events at this time.  For a pictorial walk down memory lane, take a look at the Hippies – the 1960’s collection.  (Yes, I uploaded some of these photos and added my own commentary!)

For a look at  everything that I’ve liked, go to the What I Like Right Now page.
