July – September 2016

tips & hints

The seasonal information contained on this page is offered to help you live your daily life with spiritual awareness, calm and ease. The Power days impact your Being/soul (often, strong physical events occur in the following days). The Rune and Tarot cards help you to view what is happening with perspective – as do the wisdom quotes, gathered from all sorts of philosophers and wise Beings. The Mudra helps you to create a physical and mental state in which the energies of the month can be used by you with Power. This information is obtained psychically by Kathy.

Previous seasons’ information is available on the Newsletter sub-menu

Summer Season Rune

The Rune for the Summer season is Ansuz (Signals), reversed, “You may well be concerned over what appears to be failed communication, lack of clarity or awareness either in your past history or in a present situation. You may feel inhibited from accepting what is offered.  . . . A sense of futility, of wasted motion, of a fruitless journey may dismay you.  Remember, however, that this is one of the Cycle Runes.  What is happening is timely in your process. If the well is clogged, this is the moment for cleaning out the old. Reversed, Ansuz is saying: Consider the uses of adversity.”

Summer Season Tarot

The Tarot card for the Summer is The Six of Swords, reversed. “You will stay where you are. No immediate way out of present difficulties.” Followed by The Six of Wands, upright. “Good news. Victory after strife. Pleasure gained through labor. Success through industry. . . . Friends are helpful.”

Apana Mudra

The Apana Mudra has a grounding force to help you connect with the earth’s energies whenever you are feeling off balance or flighty.

Hand position

Tips of thumb, middle and ring finger are joined. Pinky and index fingers are extended.

Hold the position  (with both hands) for at least a couple of minutes

Summer Season Wisdom

“Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? what could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life — and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.”

~ Eckhart Tolle

What is the difference

Between your experience of Existence

And that of a saint?

The saint knows

That the spiritual path

Is a sublime chess game with God

And that the Beloved

Has just made such a Fantastic Move

That the saint is now continually

Tripping over Joy

And bursting out in Laughter

And saying, “I Surrender!”

Whereas, my dear,

I am afraid you still think

You have a thousand serious moves.”

~ Hafez
