October – December 2016

tips & hints

The seasonal information contained on this page is offered to help you live your daily life with spiritual awareness, calm and ease. The Power days impact your Being/soul (often, strong physical events occur in the following days). The Rune and Tarot cards help you to view what is happening with perspective – as do the wisdom quotes, gathered from all sorts of philosophers and wise Beings. The Mudra helps you to create a physical and mental state in which the energies of the month can be used by you with Power. This information is obtained psychically by Kathy.

Previous seasons’ information is available on the Newsletter sub-menu

Fall Season Rune

The Rune for the Fall season is Inguz (New Beginnings). “A Rune of great Power, drawing it means that you now have the strength to achieve completion, resolution, from which comes a new beginning. Above all, completion is crucial here. It may be timely that you complete some project now; if so, make that your first priority.  . .  As you resolve and clear away the old, you will experience a release from tension and uncertainty.  . . . Inguz counsels preparation. Being centered and grounded, freeing yourself from all unwanted influences, and seeing the humor, you are indeed prepared to open yourself to the Will of Heaven, and can await your deliverance with calm certainty.”

Fall Season Wisdom

Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough.

~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought

― George Orwell, 1984

Making others happy, through kindness of speech and sincerity of right advice, is a sign of true greatness. To hurt another soul by sarcastic words, looks, or suggestions, is despicable.

~ Paramahansa Yogananda,

You were born into a state of grace. It is impossible for you to leave it. You will die in a state of grace whether or not special words are spoken for you, or water or oil is poured upon your head. You share this blessing with the animals and all other living things. You cannot fall out of grace, nor can it be taken from you. You can ignore it. You can hold beliefs that blind you to its existence. You will still be graced but unable to perceive you own uniqueness and integrity, and blind also to other attributes with which you are automatically gifted.

― Jane Roberts, The Nature of Personal Reality

Much that was called religion has carried an unconscious attitude of hostility toward life. True religion must teach that life is filled with joys pleasing to the eye of God, that knowledge without action is empty. All men must see that the teaching of religion by rules and rote is largely a hoax. The proper teaching is recognized with ease. You can know it without fail because it awakens within you that sensation which tells you this is something you’ve always known.

~ Frank Herbert, Dune

Thou art god, I am god. All that groks is god.

~ Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land
